Loris Bianchi

A distinctive eye, shaped by travel and passion

My name is Loris Bianchi. I’m a wedding photographer based in Provence, born in 1989 in Paris. I’ve always been drawn to the idea of “elsewhere”. I’ve lived in Tokyo, Marseille, Normandy, and Brittany. Each place has shaped me, inspired me, and broadened my perspective. I speak French, English, and Japanese, and I love immersing myself in the cultures around me.

Finding my path wasn’t a straight line, but today I live in a place I deeply cherish, surrounded by the sound of cicadas, doing a job I’m truly passionate about: telling your love stories through photography, across France and sometimes beyond.

My journey has been anything but conventional — and that’s where its meaning lies. From Paris to Tokyo, through the mountains, every step brought me closer to photography. A decisive, almost instinctive encounter that changed my life.

Thank you for reading.

My life

From Paris to the land of the rising sun

MY BEGININGS

Passionate about art since childhood first through drawing, then music, and much later, photography. I always searched for a creative outlet. After a challenging school experience, I left at 16 and spent years working in the restaurant industry and other jobs, struggling to find what truly inspired me.

My JOURNEY

At 17, still searching for purpose, I made a bold decision to move to Japan alone. What followed was a seven-year adventure that completely reshaped my outlook on life. I quickly learned the language, navigated various small jobs, and experienced both successes and failures, which taught me resilience. After three difficult years, I found my footing in the hotel industry, where I planned to build a career.

DISCOVERING PHOTOGRAPHY

It was in Japan that I discovered photography—almost by accident—through a friend. On my days off, I experimented with different styles, from capturing the energy of Tokyo’s streets to exploring Japan’s breathtaking landscapes on motorcycle trips. I traveled to Hong Kong, Korea, and beyond, always with my camera in hand. At the time, photography was just a hobby, but it would soon become much more.

Return to France

A journey that continues

After seven years in Japan, I felt the need to come back to France. A need for grounding, for balance and above all, a clear certainty: I wanted photography to be more than a passion. I wanted it to be my profession. I settled in Marseille and began the journey. Lifestyle portraits, fashion, architecture… I explored, experimented, and learned. But it was within the world of weddings that something truly clicked: a genuine connection with people, a rich space for storytelling, and a way to create images that are both heartfelt and refined. Today, based in Provence, I dedicate myself fully to wedding photography — a choice driven by passion and by style, allowing me to tell real stories with elegance and emotion. Now settled in Provence, I have found my true fulfillment in wedding photography. Over the years, my experience has led me to capture increasingly refined and luxurious weddings, and I take great pride in seeing my work recognized and published in several wedding blogs.

MY WORLD

MY VISION OF wedding photography

I’m drawn to weddings that are thoughtfully designed.
celebrations where every detail carries meaning, set in characterful venues or surrounded by nature. I love intimate ceremonies, warm atmospheres, refined decor — everything that allows emotion to unfold freely.

My eye is also deeply influenced by fashion photography, which continues to shape the way I compose, play with light, and bring a distinctive visual signature to each story I capture.

WHAT INSPIRES ME

I love lively stories, honest images, and genuine connections.
Being a photographer isn’t just about providing a service, it’s about being part of a story, understanding it, and translating it with care and sensitivity.

I value meeting you, learning about your vision, and creating images together that truly mean something.

And because photographs shouldn’t live forgotten on a hard drive, all of my collections include an album or fine art prints, a tangible keepsake, made to last.
