Perched above Grasse on the French Riviera, Château Saint Georges reveals one of its best-kept treasures: a wedding venue where refinement meets history, a symbol of the Golden Age of the French Riviera.
A wedding at Château Saint Georges, a true symbol of the French Riviera’s golden age!
This exceptional estate was the setting for a bridal editorial styled like a high-fashion shoot — a powerful vision I had the honor to capture and share today. I’m convinced that by reading this, you will be both inspired and persuaded. Château Saint Georges is the dream venue to host and celebrate your wedding on the French Riviera.
Welcome to Château Saint Georges, located in the heart of the French Riviera, up in the hills of a village scented with citrus: Grasse, capital of haute perfumery. Château Saint Georges blends Provencal charm with luxe that will not leave you indifferent. A true relic of the Mediterranean, this place is perfect for couples who dream of an elegant wedding in a domain that takes your breath away.
Indoors, with its rococo ambiance, or outdoors, in its Mediterranean gardens — your wedding at Château Saint Georges will be unforgettable, like a fairytale in the French style.
Built in the 19th century, Château Saint Georges is also nicknamed the “Petit Versailles of the French Riviera.” This jewel was commissioned by Léon Chiris, a highly influential perfumer from Grasse at that time. He wanted a place that combined prestige, comfort, and refinement. A place to dominate the city of Grasse and to symbolize the success of his perfume business. The estate covers several hectares, includes Mediterranean gardens, an indoor pool, and terraces perfectly suited for outdoor receptions. Everything is here to celebrate your love in a dream setting.
Getting married at Château Saint Georges means celebrating your day in elegance and the charm of the French Riviera. We revealed the elegance of this exceptional venue through a fashion-styled shoot: Couture lines, a luminous and timeless ambiance, artistic direction cinched down to every detail. The shoot began in one of the most iconic spaces of the domain: the indoor pool.
That setting is intimate, with a strong visual presence. It’s the perfect spot for a first look that strikes, surrounded by friends and attendants, in the charming rooms of Château Saint Georges before the ceremony.
Celebrating your wedding at Château Saint Georges means hosting your guests with panache in a cinematic fête worthy of The Great Gatsby. That’s exactly what we set out to prove here, surrounded by a top team of vendors who know the venue inside out. Mélina of Trait pour Trait, a respected portrait artist in the region, produced a timeless keepsake, a charcoal portrait that matched the scale of the celebration. It’s the perfect gift to present to guests while the champagne is sabred beside a sumptuous wedding cake crafted by Les Délices de Gladys.
Château Saint Georges is made for all kinds of weddings, whether intimate or large celebrations in the Mediterranean gardens. It has everything to satisfy you. Here, we opted for an upscale intimate ceremony in the château’s glass-roofed veranda, accompanied by violin music from Mélodia, evoking old-world elegance, and floral arrangements by Flowdles with bold style.
The estate also lets you capture stunning couple portraits in settings that highlight your beauty and love. The light is amazing, morning or evening, and the expansive gardens will let you feel like you’re the only two people in the world for a while , perfect for romantic walks and timeless shots.
What would a wedding in France be without table art? At Château Saint Georges, you can choose to dine indoors in its elegant reception salons or outdoors in the courtyard during the warm season. Decor that honors the region makes a difference. Perfume-themed favors are a perfect gift for your guests, who, like you, will be marked forever by having experienced this in such a unique setting.
Château Saint Georges has several salons, including a grand reception hall seating up to 120 guests for a seated dinner. For an outdoor cocktail, the gardens and terraces can accommodate up to 200 people, all while enjoying panoramic views of the Mediterranean. The spaces are modular and adapt perfectly to your big day.
Each room and outdoor space offers a different vibe, allowing you to vary the moments of the day and create a true experience for your guests. In terms of location, it’s ideally placed just 30 minutes from Cannes, 40 minutes from Nice Airport, and easily accessible for guests coming from France or abroad. The rest , I believe the images will speak for themselves and convince you to make your fairytale happen here.
Convinced you want your wedding at Château Saint Georges or somewhere else on the French Riviera ? Since 2018, I’ve been photographing weddings across the region through Monaco with a style that blends editorial with reportage, weddings where love, taste, and luxury meet. I’d be more than happy to tell you more about my work to immortalize your event in the most beautiful region of France.
